That Day

 As the veil fell

And my eyes became clear

My gown turned from pearly white

To my darkest fears

My dedication ceased

Well my loyalty despaired

The casing of my heart

Became too hard to bare

The halo of the moon

Has become my source of light

Beaming with rainbows

Piercing through the fight

Screaming at shadows

I lock myself a way

Riddled with memories

Of that terrible day.
