Fish

I was born

Swimming in the ocean

Tidal waves

Sandy beach

I was raised

In a smaller sea

Windy days

Hard pebbles under my feet

I grew up

Struggling in a river

Current strong

Water deep

I emerged an adult

Trapped in a lake

Swimming in circles

Trying to escape

Aging in the still waters

Trying to break free

Then it came

The rain

My desperate plea

Please drown me

The water swelled

A current came

I was being pushed

Thrown down a stream

Off I went

What will I see.
